(Vault: proper running positions and straight jumps, Bars: glides, front arm support, pullovers and strength training, Beam: basics walks, gymnastics terminology, and confidence & Floor: handstand, cartwheels and rolls)īIG Intermediate (55 min - gymnast needs evaulation - Ages 6 +): In this instructor invite class, kids have mastered the skills in the beginner girls class and will focus on working on progressions and connection of skills. GRADE SCHOOL PROGRAMīIG Beginners (55 min - Ages 6 +): This class is an introduction to all four gymnastics events: vault, bars, beam and floor! On every event they will work on basic skills. Week to week work will be done on uneven bars, balance beam, vault and floor, including work (and play) on the trampoline, pit, and tumble-track. The focus will be on fine-tuning skills and improving form. The gymnasts will develop a sense of confidence on the gymnastics equipment.īig Shots (55 min - 5-6 year olds): This class is for the child who has shown good listening skills and are able to make a correction when given on skills. The class will continue to focus on balance, coordination, fine motor skills and basic tumbling. It will help the children learn basic skills using fun and creative tools. Mini 3-4's class (45 min - Co-ed): This class will help the children become more independent and confident in their gymnastics skills. Join us on the journey to prep your child for future physical excellence! A trial class is required to determine if your child is prepared for the SO BIG class or if a different program would be a better fit such as: Teeny Tots or Tiny 3's. We are incorporating educational musical games, as well as sensory and team work activities! The class will run for 45 minutes and is geared towards introducing all events of basic gymnastics, as well as the idea of being independent and the understanding of how a class room is structured. ![]() Some of the basic requirements include: good listening skills, confidence in entering a class room independently and guardian staying in lobby during class in case needed bathroom breaks. When signing up for this class, please keep in mind we have some basic requirements for any child entering the program so this class can be as productive as possible. So BIG!! (45 min - Co-ed - Trial Class Required): Our brand new 2-3 year old independent class will focus on gross motor skills, sensory building and an introduction to basic gymnastics. This is a great way for parents and children to bond while participating in a fun and active class and preparing them for an independent class setting! ![]() ![]() ![]() This class will help them develop social, sharing and listening skills. They will concentrate on balancing, coordination and fine motor skills through games, races, tumbling and activities on gymnastics equipment. In this introductory class, children will get introduced to the gym atmosphere and facility. Teeny Tots class (45 min - Co-ed): A parent and tot class for ages walking to 3 years old. ![]()
